Ask anyone who runs a small business and they'll tell you it's a lot of work.  Lots and lots of work.  But seeing your dreams, your ideas, your inspiration come to life... via creativity and late nights and bubbling optimism... it's all worth it.  I'm an entrepreneur at heart, and it's hard to imagine things any other way.

Welcome 2015: New Year, New Goals | Twin Cities Portrait & Commercial Photography

Phew!  The end of 2014 flew by fast...

No surprise, since it's our busiest time of the year around here (outdoor fall shoots, Christmas card sessions, holiday card designs, and more!)

Now that 2015 is off to a fresh start, here are some of the things you can look for around the Feather Blue Studios world...

• A new headshot & small business program, including the option to add killer photographic accent images (your very own stock photography) that will grab attention for your business on social media, in print, and on your own blog.
• Some model calls? (We've got a few fashion projects in our back pocket).
• New graduation announcements / invitations for high school seniors. (Super fun.)

Summertime Family & Children's Photography at Como Park | Como Park Photographer St. Paul MN

Now that June has arrived and the weather is at its loveliest, we can again start thinking of photo sessions with majestic low-light and loads of roaming sunshine (late afternoon & evening light is best, though morning can be good too).  With Como Park just 4 blocks away, we shoot there time and time again (often in some surprising less-touristy parts of Como you might not be familiar with) -- always with stunning results.
