Shoot location: Como Park area in St. Paul, with easy parking (at the Pavilion on the lake).

Feather Blue Studios' HEADSHOTS-IN-THE-PARK Details:

What: 30 minute headshot sessions, outdoors at Como Park Lake area; shots in at least 3 different "backdrop" locations; edited down to 12-20 image options for you to view and select from.  Final image includes retouching.

For Who: Business Professionals, Small Business Owners, Models, Actors, High School or College Seniors, Networkers, Authors, Real Estate Agents, more...

Special Rate: Special event rate of just $139! (+ tax) -- A $50 deposit is due upon booking. (Value comparison: regular 1-look sessions range from $190 to $220).

Includes: Pre-session online questionnaire for planning, wardrobe idea link, session time, an online gallery of image options, and one final retouched digital jpg image (yes! -- wrinkles, stray hairs, eye-bags no more!).  Additional images can be purchased a la carte for a reasonable rate.

Timeline:  Approximately one week after our shoot you'll get an online gallery emailed to you.  Once you select your final image(s), your retouched pictures will be emailed to you within 7-10 days. (If you are in a hurry, let us know!  For a rush fee we can move you up on the editing list).

About the Studio: Shannon Tacheny (tash-ney) of Feather Blue Studios is an experienced photographer who specializes in playing up your best angles as much as she does utilizing the right light.  With a background in modeling as well as the business world, she has a keen eye for capturing images that suit your industry and style.  She will walk you through the process of posing and smiling to capture the best image possible with no pressure on your end.  Want to see more of our commercial-style professional headshots?  Click here.

FAQ:

Q: I love this, but I think I need a studio shot.  Do you offer that as well?  

A: The right outdoor setting can produce a highly professional, corporate, or even urban look, that gives off just as professional of an edge as shooting indoors.  The location we are using will have lots of structure and solid walls available, not just grass, trees, and a lake.  But yes, if you want to shoot in-studio, we'd be happy to set up an individual session with our regular rates for just that.  Contact us for a complete menu of services on regular sessions, including options for shooting in-studio or a combo of outdoors/in, at your own location, adding a makeup artist, extended wardrobe consultations, and more.

Q: I really want to shoot 2 outfits, can we make that work?  

A: For an additional $70 you can reserve two time slots and take the time to change outfits.  There is a restroom/lounge area at the Pavilion on location.  Please let us know this immediately so we can find you back-to-back slots.  You can also book a regular session on a different day with regular rates, customized to your needs -- connect with us if you'd like to see the full menu of services.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: We will have rain backup dates in place.  You can select from them to reschedule your shoot.  If it is lightly cloudy, the light for photos is often even better; if it is especially dark (storm clouds) or raining, we will need to reschedule.  We will set up a rain protocol system before the shoot.

Q: Do I have the rights to use my digital image for whatever I want?  

A: Pretty much.  You will receive a waiver stating that you have the rights to use your digital image for your personal, business, and marketing needs - both print and web.
