Family Photo Feature: Outdoor Family Photography {St Paul, Minneapolis, MN}

Here are some peaks from an outdoor family session done a few weeks ago, by Como Lake. A beautiful family (aren't they cute?), :) beautiful scenery, and beautiful light. While summer is coming to an end, early fall light is still lovely and there's plenty of time to get an outdoor session in before the leaves change... {check out our September BOGO special below}. ;)

Fall is Coming! September Specials / Fall Schedule - {Child & Family Photography, St Paul}

Christmas Pictures! Autumn Leaves! Baby Announcements! Fall Birthdays! Family Fun! All great reasons to invest in a family photo adventure this fall.

And after much calendar-pondering, we've finally come up with the Fall Schedule...

SEPTEMBER~ We're offering a never-before-done BOGO Special! {Buy one, get one free!} This is meant for two groups/families, so email a friend and get them on board. The idea is the first session is regular price, the second session is free! (Of course, you can each go "halfsies" if you prefer). ;) Plus, you'll each get $30 Credit toward your prints. Not a bad start. :)


How it works: You and your friend book your sessions together (to take place the same day, but one hour apart). This can be for baby pictures, kids, family pictures, in-studio or outside... no limits on location (just that it's the same for both of you), no set day, just in September.

One (or both of you) must be a NEW client to the studio. So if you're a regular here and you have friends who have admired your pictures, this is a great time to introduce them to the studio & book a session for both of you! Or if you're a newbie who's admired the website for awhile, grab a friend & have the fun together! Perhaps you both had baby's around the same time? Maybe you are excited to create a envy-worthy, custom Christmas card? Now's the perfect time!

As for Oct & Nov, more details on these will be coming soon, but here are dates for the two "mini-shoot" specials we'll be offering...

~Sat Oct 16th: Fall OUTDOOR Mini Shoots at Como Park, 45 minutes long, $95 which includes a $25 order credit, starting with morning sessions, extending into early afternoon as demand determines {Book more than a month before & receive $10 off!}
These sessions are ideal for families and include a variety of posed + candid shots throughout Como Park. Kids alone or babies welcome as well, but great for families.

~Tuesday Nov 9th: STUDIO Mini Shoots, 45 minutes long, $85 which includes a $20 order credit, starting with mid-morning sessions, extending into afternoon or evening as demand determines {Book more than a month before & receive $10 off!}
These studio sessions are ideal for babies or kids, but of course families are welcome as well.

~December: Dec 7th is tentatively the very last day to shoot with getting Christmas orders back in time, with rush turnaround. Ideally, please aim to book sessions you want Christmas prints from for September, October, or November. December 10th is the very last day to have orders in with pre-Christmas delivery in mind. Specialty items (such as handbags, pillows, jewelry, or collages) should be ordered no later than the end of November.

Lazy Days... Summer Vacation... Back to Work....

Well, I'm back to work after a week long vacation "up north" here in MN (& a bit of not-so-lovely bout with the flu). To commemorate the vacation, I thought I'd post a quick shot of all of us that spent the last part of the week together ~ my three sisters, our families, my parents, and even our grandfather spent a beautiful weekend by the lake.
